Pennridge Little League Tee Ball Welcome to Pennridge Little League.
Pennridge Little League provides an exceptional youth
baseball experience for a wide range of ages and skill levels. We have seven fields and 2 concession stands and host recreational and tournament play throughout the season. The league is run solely by volunteers and our volunteers are vital to ensure that the league is the best it can be.
Opening Day : Our largest activity of the year is Opening Day.
The day starts with a parade starting at the Perkasie Fire House and ending at the Major Complex on Walnut Street in Perkasie. Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2014. We have many activities for the children to enjoy, food, basket raffle and a baseball game. The Team Basket Raffle is a friendly competition in which each team chooses a theme for a basket and each team member contributes items for the basket. See your head coach for more details.
Snack Stand:
Throughout the baseball season, each family will be asked to put in a small amount of their time in working a few shifts in the snack stand or helping with our Opening Day activities. We hope you enjoy the 2014 baseball season here at Pennridge. It’s a great way to meet other parents and kids in your level .

Tee Ball FAQ’s Q: I signed my child up, when will I know what team they are on? A: It ultimately depends on the number of children that have signed up in a given year. Last year, there were over 200 signed up for both the T-Ball and Coach Pitch Divisions. PLL tries to set rosters of 11-12 players on each team. Registration ends on March 15th.However, there are often many late registrants in these two divisions. You can expect to be notified of which team your child is on by mid-March. Q: When and where are practices? A: Both practice times and locations are determined by each individual coach. Practice locations include school fields and parks within the PLL service area (Perkasie, Sellersville, East and West Rockhill). Generally, practices start in late March or early April, depending on weather conditions. The scheduling and frequency of practices is wholly dependent on the individual coach. It would be fair to assume a practice schedule of 1 or 2 practices/week. Each practice normally would last from 1 to 1½ hours –this usually depends on the attention span of the children and the patience of the coach. Q: When do games start? A: Last year, the T-Ball and Coach Pitch season started in on May 2 and ended on June 16 . Due to the weather conditions this year we may start later than usual. . Q: When and where are the games? A: Generally, a team has one game during the week and one game on the weekend. Last year, games were played during the week from Monday through Thursday at 6 PM. Saturday games were played at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Games are played at Lake Lenape Park in Sellersville and at Lenape Park in Perkasie. nd

Q: What if a game is rained out? A: The scheduling of rain outs is the responsibility of the coaches for both teams. Games may be made up on Fridays or on other days when a field is open. While making up rained out games is strongly encouraged, it is not required. There are instances when a game cannot be made up. Considering that score is not kept and that there are no standings, this generally isn’t an issue.
