Welcome to Tim Deem, Our Bible Class Guest Speaker We welcome Tim Deem from the Children’s Home and Bible School at Mt. Dora today. He will be speaking to all adult and teen classes in the auditorium today. We are privileged to be a part of the Lord’s work that is being done there.
Volleyball Anyone? Anyone interested in playing volleyball today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.? If so, please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway and come back and play!
T.R.U.T.H. Group Gathering Next Sunday, April 6th, following our second worship service, the T.R.U.T.H. Group will be gathering for lunch at Chili’s on S.R. 54. The theme is “Getting to know Christ through each other.” You’ll want to be there with your friends, have lunch and just have a good time. Parents are also encouraged to come to this lunch so we can use this time to share what we are covering in our class.
Game Night Plan to join us for food, fun and games on Saturday, April 12th, at 5:30 p.m. The menu is going to be Bring-Your-Own-Sub. See Jerry or Lupe Runions to find out what side to bring.
Moms & More The M & Ms will be having their monthly Bible study on Sunday, April 13th at 5:30 p.m. at the building.
Work Day and Bar-B-Q Lunch Saturday, April 19th (starting at 8 a.m.) will be our Work Day. We have lots to do—general cleaning in the building — and outside work (painting, playground clean-up, edging, weeding, tree trimming and tent set-up). There’s a list on the bulletin board— put your name where you choose to work so we can know who to count on to accomplish each of the tasks. Afterward, we’ll have lunch together. Please put your name on the sign-up sheet for that lunch, helping us get an accurate count of those who’ll be staying to share lunch so we can plan accordingly.
Easter Sunday Service We will be worshipping under our tent on Easter Sunday, April 20th at 10 a.m. There will be no Bible classes that day. Please invite your friends and family to join us and remember to bring lawn chairs for yourself and your guests.
Easter Egg Hunt Our 8th grade girls class will be filling and hiding candy-filled plastic eggs for the kids to hunt. Please bring wrapped candy and leave it in the kitchen—NO chocolate, please. We don't want to invite any hungry ants to our egg hunt.
