Pets & Animals A date with Tate Adoptable dogs take romantic stroll through Doylestown The first date of the Holiday House Pet Resort’s doggie dating series occurred June 5 in Doylestown. Two-year-old bachelorette, Fiona, and her handsome date, Tate, arrived in a stretch limo in front of Life on the Leash. Brenner Coach and Limousine donated its services for the event. Lori Busdeker, Doggie Daycare director and ambassador of Holiday House Pet Resort, led the dogs through town along with other partners of the event. Fiona and Tate started their date at Life on the Leash, followed by a visit to A Special Gift, Elizabeth Benke and Associates Salon and Color Studio,
Team Capital Bank, and ended with a romantic lunch at Puck restaurant. Many of these business owners have rescued pets of their own. Fiona went on a date with Keno, a friendly 1-year-old puggle, June 12 in New Hope. They stopped by Jake and Elwood’s House of Chews, Bitter Bob’s, Bow Wow’s and DeAnna’s Restaurant in Lambertville, N.J. Fiona will go on a date with a third bachelor June 19. The dogs featured in the Barking Bachelorette dating series are available for adoption and looking forward to finding welcoming homes. Note: See more images at buckscountyherald.com.

Tabby’s cat of the week Samantha is a female cat awaiting adoption at Tabby's Place. Just about a year old, Samantha is extremely athletic and loves to play. Although she is shy around people she doesn't know, Samantha cannot resist anything that moves. She is in good health and is up to date with her shots, house-trained and spayed. Samantha gets along well with other cats as long as they are not aggressive. Because she is still on the shy side, Samantha would probably prefer a home without small children at this time. Visit Samantha at Tabby's Place, 1100 Highway 202, Ringoes, N.J., any day between noon and 5 p.m. or call 908-237-5300.
