What is it like? • Hillcrest is a small, homely centre, with staff who really love working with younger guests. • It’s in a quiet rural setting and is ideal for a first visit away from home or if you’re looking for somewhere really friendly and extra welcoming!
Accommodation • All accommodation is in the main house, in dormitories with showers and toilets nearby. PGL night duty staff sleep in rooms close to the dormitories.
• Please note that we ask the children learn how to make a bed (well, as much as you can with a sleeping a bag)
Facilities • The house has a really big garden with an abseil and climbing tower, challenge course, archery range and zip wire. In the house there is a dining room, quiet room and indoor activities room.
• The programme is arranged by the centre staff and usually includes at least one day of waterbased activities at our private lake ‘Drummonds Dub’, just 15 minutes’ drive away by coach.
