The AEC began holding the Spectrum Conference in 1990. The conference seminars and group networking are designed to enhance the knowledge and professionalism of the PHCC executive at the local and state level. AEC sponsors and awards scholarships for the Spectrum Conference to aid with travel expenses associated with attending the conference. The awards are based on the applicant’s financial need. The scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age or affiliation. All decisions regarding awards are final. The recipient must submit receipts for all travel related expenses including airfare, hotel and airport transportation to receive reimbursement. The scholarship amount is up to $500 for travel expenses, plus complimentary registration to Spectrum.
