PLAY HOCKEY??? Charlotte County Inline Hockey Association is expanding our horizons to include Youth Ball / Street Hockey. For the next several weeks, from March 29 to May 17, in addition to our youth co-ed intermural inline hockey we will also offer co-ed youth ball / street hockey. (Hockey using a ball on sneakers). If successful, we would like to expand and offer this as a permanent league. Structured as open hockey, rink time will be Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For the safety of the kids, we are currently running a non-checking league and will continue that. This is a great way to get in shape or even increase your stamina while having fun. We will have some equipment to lend. Don’t let a lack of equipment stop you from coming out and having fun. Just bring your sneakers / athletic shoes for the outdoor rink. There is no cost for this open hockey. Most of all, you are welcome to just show up to play on Saturday mornings to get more info or to just check it out. You can also come to the rink on Thursday nights from 6 to 8:30 pm., and learn a little bit about the sport while watching a great Inline Hockey game!!!
