Player Agreement and Code of Conduct
Player Agreement and Code of Conduct With a signature, each player acknowledges his/her responsibility to participate in games, practices, and other team events. He/She also understands his/her duty to support the team as a whole through his/her conduct and sportsmanship behavior. Each player agrees to the following;
I WILL treat my coaches, teammates, opposition, officials and spectators with respect at all times I WILL be a positive role model and encourage good sporting behavior from my teammates, coaches and parents. I WILL never ridicule or yell at any player for making a mistake during a game or during training. I WILL listen to my coaching staff and do what is asked of me in order to improve my game and team contribution. I WILL provide only positive comments to players on the field while I am a substitute and support my teammates who are in the game. I understand that I am responsible for my kits and equipment. I understand that I must be on time and play my best at all trainings and contests. I will not be on my cell phone once I am at training unless receiving approval from a coaching staff member. I will personally tell one of my coaches of any training, games or other CSC events to which I cannot attend with advance notice. I will NEVER use social media to damage my reputation or the CSC soccer community. I understand that posting damaging information can destroy friendships, families and teams in minutes. These are permanent records that can never be erased and I will treat them accordingly. I understand that drug/alcohol use and other inappropriate behavior, including posting inappropriate information on my social media are grounds for dismissal from the team.
