Step 1 — Let's get started
Start with the console upside down

Six 4.0 mn screws on the base of the PS2. ( place on the project mat.)

separate the bottom PS2 with the top placento the side

Locate the clock battery .Take tweezers gentle remove it from connection from motherboard. (place on project mat )

IR sensor on the motherboard.
Gentle use spudger release the blue/ white ribbon from motherboard, ( place IR sensor )
Step 6
Fan with red, black,yellow wires under tape remove the tape genlty.
Release the connect gentle from motherboard.
There three screws 1.6mn around base of fan

Optical drive on the motherboard
There are four screws 4.0mn hold the optical drive .
In remove four screw and place Optical drive together on project mat.

There are ribbons that are attach to the motherboard. With spudger gently detach the ribbon from motherboard connection.

Remove one 2.4 mn screws that locate mount metal cusing at the top on motherboard
Step 10
Gently lift metal casing from the motherboard . Put it to side

Flip motherboard over and remove metal casing off. Remove five screws .
Place screws on mat and casing to the side
