S Mission Statement Port Blake ely Tree Farm ms Environmental Educatio on Program (PPBTF EE) seekks to promotee public awareeness and understanding of forest f ecology and management in the Pacific North hwest. The EEE program ugh classroom m demonstrrates the benefits and importance of managed foressts in our daily lives. Throu presentattions and field d tours, we prrovide studen nts opportuniities to explore and underrstand our wo orking forests. ely supports educational e development d activities tha t align with th Port Blake he mission off the EE progrram. In supporting educatorrs that particiipate in the PBTF P EE Progrram, we offerr those schools and teacheers the opporrtunity to app ply for one of four annuallyy awarded gr ants of $500 each. One application per teacher per school year with principal’s approval Grant monies must be used for environmental education Detailed estimate of project costs Winning applicants will be selected by the Port Blakely’s Giving Committee Applicants receiving grant monies will be asked to complete a Project Documentation Form AFTER the funds are spent 7. Grants awarded must be payable to school, organization, Parent Teacher organization, etc. Check will not be made out to an individual’s name.
