Controlled Substance Homicide Arrest, B16-005621 On March 14th, 2017, detectives with the Bremerton Police Department’s Special Operations Group (SOG), arrested 30-year-old, Brandon Ramey on a felony warrant for Controlled Substance Homicide. Ramey was located at his place of employment in Silverdale, WA and taken into custody without incident by undercover detectives. The arrest stems from an incident last July where it is believed Ramey supplied the 67-year-old victim with methamphetamine. A coroner’s report indicates the “Immediate Cause of Death” as being Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication. During a search of Ramey, incident to his arrest, detectives located drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Ramey’s car was impounded, pending a search warrant, after Poulsbo Police K9 “Kilo” alerted to the vehicle. Ramey was booked into Kitsap County Jail on the homicide warrant. His bail was set at $500,000.00.
