Recut strip into 12 template C. 22199B Blue Paisley • Cut (1) 5 ½” x WOF strip. Recut strip into 12 template C. 22202B Blue/Green Paisley Blender • Cut (1) 8” x WOF strip. Recut strip into (1) 8” square. • Cut the square on both diagonals to make 4 F triangles. 22200S Yellow Flower • Cut (1) 3 ⅞” x WOF strip. Recut strip into (1) 3 ⅞” D square. • Cut (1) 5 ½” x WOF strip. Recut strip into 12 template C.
22204S Yellow Blender • Cut (2) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Recut strips into (8) 5 ½” K squares. Trim remainder of strip to 3 ⅞” and recut into (4) 3 ⅞” x 7 ¼” G rectangles. • Cut (1) 8” x WOF strip. Recut strip into (1) 8” square. • Cut the square on both diagonals to make 4 H triangles. • Cut (5) 5 ½” x WOF strips. • Cut 56 each templates A and B from strips. 22198R Large Red Paisley • Cut (1) 7 ⅝” x WOF strip. Recut strip into (2) 7 ⅝” squares. • Cut each square in half on 1 diagonal to make 4 E triangles. • Cut two 68” x WOF for backing. Making the Paisley Block: 1. Sew an F triangle to an H triangle to make an F-H unit. Press seam toward F. Repeat to make 4 F-H units.
2. Sew an F-H unit to an E triangle to make a square unit. Press seam toward E. Repeat to make 4 square units.
22199R Red Paisley • Cut (2) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Recut strips into 20 template C. 22202S Yellow/Red Paisley Blender • Cut (2) 2 ½” x 30 ½” L strips. • Cut (2) 2 ½” x 34 ½” M strips. • Cut (5) 2 ½” x WOF P/Q strips. 22202R Red Paisley Blender • Cut (2) 2” x WOF strips. Recut strips into (2) 2” x 17 ½” I strips and (2) 2” x 20 1/2” J strips. • Cut (7) 2 ¼” x WOF strips for binding. 22198S Large Yellow Paisley • Cut (2) 6 ½” x 34 ½” N strips. • Cut (3) 6 ½” x WOF O strips.

3. Sew a G rectangle to the F side of each square unit to make 4 side units. Press seams toward G.
Pop Paisley 4. Arrange the side units with the D square. Number the units referring to the diagram. Place the D square right sides together on the E corner of the number 1 side unit. Starting at the top edge, stitch a partial seam, stopping stitching 1” from the end of D. Press D to the right side with seam toward D.
Making the Triangle Units:
5. Place the number 2 side unit right sides together on the top of the stitched unit and stitch together. Open and press seam toward the number 2 side unit.
Quilt Assembly:
1. Sew A and B pieces to C to complete 1 triangle unit. Press seams toward A and B. Repeat to make a total of 56 triangle units referring to the diagram for color combinations.
1. Sew an I strip to opposite sides and J strips to the top and bottom of the Paisley block. Press seams toward I and J. 2. Select and join 1 each red, blue, green and yellow triangle units to make a pieced strip. Press seams in 1 direction. Repeat to make 4 strips.
6. Continue adding units 3 and 4 and complete the partial seam to complete the Paisley block.
3. Sew a pieced strip to opposite sides of the pieced center. Press seams toward the I strips. Sew a K square to each end of each remaining pieced strip. Press seams toward K. Sew these strips to the top and bottom of the pieced center. Press seams toward J. 4. Sew L strips to opposite sides and M strips to the top and bottom of the pieced center. Press seams toward the strips. 5. Sew the N strips to opposite sides of the pieced center; press seams toward strips. Join the O strips on the short ends to make a long strip; press seams open. Recut strip into (2) 6 ½” x 46 ½” O strips. Sew these strips to the top and bottom of the pieced center.

Pop Paisley 7. Join the P/Q strips on the short ends to make a long strip; press seams open. Recut strip into (2) 2 ½” x 46 ½” P strips and (2) 2 ½” x 50 ½” Q strips. Sew the P strips to opposite sides and Q strips to the top and bottom of the pieced center; press seams toward strips. 8. Select and join 10 triangle units to make a side strip referring to the diagram for color placement of units. Press seams in 1 direction. Repeat to make 4 side strips.
9. Sew a side strip to opposite sides of the pieced center. Press seams toward the P strips. 10. Sew a K square to each end of each remaining side strip. Press seams toward K. Sew these strips to the top and bottom of the pieced center to complete the quilt top. Press seams toward the Q strips. 11. Join the 2 ¼”-wide red paisley blender binding strips with diagonal seams, trim seams to ¼” and press open to make a long strip. 12. Remove selvage edges from each 68” length of backing. Join the 2 backing lengths along the 68” edges using a ⅜” seam allowance. Press seam to 1 side and trim to 68” x 68”. 13. Layer the batting, backing, and completed top, then quilt and bind using your favorite methods to complete the quilt.
