POPPY HOW TO MAKE A 3D PAPER POPPY A fun and simple craft to celebrate our veterans.

Materials Needed: Two 5-inch squares of red paper, small piece of black paper, one green pipe cleaner, glue/tape, and scissors. 1. Fold both squares of red paper into four ths, then diagonally into eighths. In the end the folded paper should look like a triangle. 2. Draw a semicircular pattern onto each folded square as shown below; one should be smaller than the other.

3. Cut the folded squares along the pattern and unfold the paper. The paper will slightly fold up like a bowl. 4. Glue the smaller red shape inside of the larger one. 5. Cut a small circle out of your black piece of paper and glue it in the center of the flower shape. 6. Tape or glue the green pipe cleaner back of the flower. You made a 3D Paper Poppy! You can now place it in a vase, twist the pipe cleaner around a shirt pocket button, tie it into your hair, or wind it around your wrist to make a bracelet. Wear it proudly!
