Sewing machine in good working order Mat, rotary cutter and rulers for cutting General sewing supplies: pins, seam ripper, scissors, pencil and paper etc. Neutral thread for piecing, size 80/12 needles ¼” patchwork foot
Fabric: Strips of fabrics in varied widths ( 1 ¼”- 2 “) for potholder Fun fabrics, food fabrics, seasonal fabrics, colorful fabrics! (2-3) 9” squares cotton fabric for potholder backs (2-3) 9” squares of Insu-lbrite heat resistant batting (2-3) 9” squares o fWarm and Natural batting Trim if you wish ( small rick-rack) Large needle (like chenille) and button to sew on last and floss thread 2-3 Binding strips cut at 2 ½” x WOF width of fabric ( I used black) Thread color to match your binding
Before class preparation: Have all your pieces cut and ready for class so you can make 2!
