A specially engineered Taq DNA polymerase with a very fast PCR extension rate at 100 bp/second. Also possesses moderate 3’-5’ proofreading activity, making this enzyme well suited for high-throughput PCR.

MiniOne® for AP biology and college labs We love the MiniOne systems. I used them for the Biotech electrophoresis projects and also with the AP Biology students. What was really enjoyable was watching the AP students . . . get so excited on being able to watch the gel. They all had their cell phones out, doing time lapse photography of the runs. These boxes are great and use a lot less agarose, so they are very cost effective.
