With California and Vermont adopting a "Zero Lead" requirement (AB 1953 and ACT 193), Viega is now offering Bronze PEX Press fittings with attached sleeve for use with ViegaPEX™, ViegaPEX Ultra and FostaPEX® tubing. "Zero Lead" identifies Viega products meeting the lead free requirements of California and Vermont law, effective January 1, 2010, as tested and listed against NSF - 61 Annex G. When the product is marked with the "cNSF®us pw-G" designation it affirms compliance to California and Vermont Zero Lead requirement. Viega's new Zero Lead bronze material still has superior
dezincification properties as compared to standard bronze press fittings and will carry the same trusted listings required for potable water use. Viega selects top quality materials such as zero lead bronze, Eco Brass®, stainless steel, and durable plastics providing the basis for the very highest standards of quality that Viega is known for. In addition to our zero lead fittings, Viega also offers a variety of accessories needed to complete your zero lead installation that includes the MANABLOC® manifold parallel water distribution system and a variety of copper PEX Press manifolds and Eco Brass valves. * Only for use with UL listed ViegaPEX Ultra Black tubing.
