The Risk Transformation and Value Proposition Worksheet, designed to understand and mitigate risk by aligning Human Life Value & Property Value The following worksheet can be used to evaluate the risk that accompanies any investment, given the financial and personal circumstances of the investor. This worksheet is based on a more complete understanding of risk as it applies to the creation of wealth, an understanding that goes far beyond the standard “High Risk/High Reward” fallacy preached by the mainstream financial media. Risk is not merely the result of any given investment’s financial traits and characteristics. Rather, risk is the result of the interaction of an investment’s traits and the knowledge and understanding that the investor brings to the investment. As such, an investment that would prove unreasonably risky for one investor might be only slightly risky, or not at all risky for another investor. How can the same investment pose different levels of risk to different people? Quite simply, the difference in risk is the result of the difference in the two investor’s understandings of the investment’s value proposition. Part of the value proposition of an investment describes who benefits from the transactions involved, and how this benefit is repaid. A complete understanding of an investment’s value proposition goes far beyond knowing the interest rate paid on an investor’s principal. Rather, it requires an investor to understand how a company uses the invested money to create value in the marketplace, how this value is perceived by potential buyers in the marketplace, and what they are willing to pay to purchase this value. Investment Evaluation Questions The following questions are divided into three sections. The first two sections (Short Answer and Yes/No) consist of a total of eight questions, the purpose of which is to evaluate your own understanding of an investment and its value proposition. Short answer questions require you to think deeply and describe your understanding of the investment. This detailed evaluation will prove useful not just for the current investment being assessed, but for all future investment opportunities you evaluate. You should answer the first five Short Answer questions before proceeding to the Yes/No section. The Yes/No questions can be answered quickly, and are designed to highlight deficiencies in your understanding of critical components that are involved with any investment. If you answer “No” to any of these questions, there is no reason to move forward with additional evaluation of the investment. Short answer and Yes/No questions will be used by your Personal Board of Directors to guide your education in The Freedom FastTrack. The third section contains Personal Ranking questions, which are assigned a value between 0 and 5 based on your perception of your own understanding of the investment. Personal Ranking questions are used to create a final score for any investment. There are 10 Personal Ranking questions. As such, a perfect score of 50 indicates that you have a well-established understanding of an investment’s value proposition, and are able to mitigate your risk in this investment to near zero.

Making an Investment Decision The Short Answer and Yes/No sections establish a foundation for further evaluation of an investment. If you are unable to answer any of the five Short Answer questions, it is necessary to investigate further and find the answer before you move on. If you cannot find an answer to any of these questions, the investment is not suitable for you at this time. If you do not have an affirmative answer to all three Yes/No questions, then it is inappropriate to move forward with the investment, due to the risk you would be taking as an investor. Only after the investment foundation has been established by the first two sections of questions, should you move forward with the Personal Ranking questions. As described in the “Benchmarking Your Investment Criteria” section below, the final score from the Personal Rankings section of an investment is compared to the scores from your previous top-performing and worst performing investments. Based on this comparison, a decision regarding the investment can be made. Section 1: Short Answer Questions* Q: 1 What is/are the underlying economic principle(s) at play? Describe it in your own words, how it works. Q: 2 Who is accountable if the investment goes into default? Q: 3 If the value proposition makes sense to you, describe the value proposition of the investment. Q: 4 Is the investment a one-time-only opportunity, or does it offer ongoing systems and possibilities for wealth creation? If so, describe these ongoing opportunities. Q: 5 What reasons, other than rate of return, would you invest in this investment? Section 2: Yes/No Questions* Q: 1 Do you understand the investment adequately to make your own decision? Q: 2 Is the investment insured? Q: 3 Do you know the people involved in generating investment returns? *To utilize Short Answer & Yes / No Worksheet see appendix
