In December we will make one ornament for a sample to see the whole process. (If there is time we will begin more) They are such fun to make and become wonderful gifts for friends and family. 2. LET’S HAVE A POTLUCK TO CELEBRATE THE SEASON AND OUR TIME TOGETHER THIS YEAR. I WILL HAVE A POT OF SOUP. PLEASE BRING WHAT YOU LIKE TO SHARE. WE WILL BREAK FROM 12:30 TO 1:30 FOR LUNCH. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND, PLEASE COME AND AUDIT THIS SESSION AND ENJOY THE COMPANY. 3. SATURDAY CLASS: PEASE NOT THE DATE CHANGE ON THE WEB DUE TO CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. Specific Class Supplies: Designs: The designs are taken from AG Lace Ornaments. (PROJ44) Cut 1 piece of nylon organdy to fit the 200x200 or the 200 x 260 hoop. Aqua Magic dissolvable stabilizer Threads: o Embroidery Color of choice white, gold, etc. o Sewing Thread to match the embroidery thread o 60 wt. white bobbin thread (black if doing a dark color) Heat stencil gun Hair dryer to dry the ornaments after soaking (Bring a hand towel or cotton dish towel to help the drying process) Glue gun and glue stick(s) Small ceramic tile or plate to work on Alum foil balled up into a ball about the size of a golf ball or larger Lavender to fill the pocket made by two put together (your choice) Embellishments: ribbons ¼ up to approx. ½”, rope pearls (small), decorative ropes or braids that are 1/8” to ¼”, hot set crystal gun and crystals, sequins, glitter, etc. Anything you have or want to get to have fun choices. Small amounts will do such as 18” ribbon pieces, etc. Round toothpicks are great for gluing small places. Stiletto Hand Sewing Needles General Supplies (These are the standard supplies needed for most classes. The ones checked are for this class specifically) Sewing Machine, Foot Pedal, Power Cord, & Instruction Book √ Q foot, A foot, Open Toe foot √ General Sewing Notions (pins, wash away markers, scissors [larger & small], fray block, √ Seam ripper, tweezers, etc.) USB Stick √ Rotary cutter, mat, and 3 x 18 inch quilter’s rule √
