Seniors: Reminder to get your donations for the After Graduation Party turned in. Also remember to turn in your $25 if you plan to attend.
Prom picture packets are available in the office. If you would like a prom photo, make sure to pick up a packet and bring the envelope along with money to prom. JUNIORS AND SENIORS! If you are going to prom you need to sign up in the office. Remember, your date can be no older than 20, and if he/she is from out of town, we need to know his/her age and where he/she is from. Do this ASAP so Ms.Trost and Ms. Watson can buy materials and make plans for food. Thank you! After-Prom Announcement: Busses will be available this year to take students attending the after-prom party to iHop in Salina for breakfast. The busses will leave from the CES parking lot at the conclusion of the after-prom party. There is a $5 deposit required to sign up for the bus. The $5 will be returned to you when you board the bus. If you sign up but do not ride, you will not get your $5 back. Space is limited and available on a first come - first served basis. The sign-up sheet is located in Mrs. Meyer's room....you will pay your deposit to her. The deadline for signing-up is Friday, April 13th.

Due to a change in the National JAG program, “Junior High JAG” will no longer be an elective. Those 6th & 7th graders who chose JAG need to select another elective. Please email Mrs. Atwell or Mr. Meyer as soon as possible with your replacement choice.

SENIOR 2018 YEAR END SCHEDULE •
Monday, May 14 – Senior Finals/Block Schedule Grades 7-12. Seniors will be in class all day. Senior check-out sheets will be distributed during first period.

Tuesday, May 15 – Senior Finals/Block Schedule Grades 7-12. Seniors complete classroom checkout. Seniors may leave after 8th hour check out (approximately 1:30).

Wednesday, May 16 –NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS. Regular Schedule Grades 7-11. Seniors should not be on school premises without principal’s prior approval. Seniors may make up missed finals in the morning only if necessary.

NOTE: Any senior not meeting graduation requirements by 12:00 p.m. Wednesday will be informed that afternoon that they will NOT be participating in the graduation ceremonies, and will need to make further arrangements to complete the graduation requirements. This means you must earn 25 credits and pass all required courses.
ALL SENIORS MUST COMPLETE THEIR CHECK OUT PROCESS AND TURN IN THEIR COMPLETED CHECK OUT SHEET TO PRINCIPAL BRYCE WACHS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE NO LATER THAN NOON WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 2018

Thursday, May 17th – NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS. Regular Schedule Grades 7-11. Seniors should not be on school premises without principal’s prior approval.

Friday, May 18th – Senior Awards Assembly @ 8:15 a.m. in the CHS Auditorium. Regular Schedule Grades 7-11. Students in grades 9 thru 11 should report to 1st period for attendance then move to the auditorium. Seniors will report directly to the auditorium and sit in center section. Teachers monitor their classes. Many parents and members from the community will be attending so please be courteous. Graduation practice – immediately following Senior Awards Assembly. Seniors will practice graduation ceremonies and review baccalaureate. It is mandatory that ALL seniors WHO WILL GRADUATE attend this practice. Seniors should not be on school premises without principal’s prior approval after the completion of assembly and graduation ceremony practice.
This is an exciting time of year, especially for the seniors. Please remember to be safe and courteous in your actions so as to not be disruptive to our school environment. You are to refrain from the use of such items as, but not limited to, water balloons and fireworks on or around school property. Please know that you are to refrain from ANY acts that may be destructive or harmful to persons or property.
