Since the French Royal Court of Louis XVI first established the rules of etiquette, the code of conduct has evolved over the years, but the basic principles of being polite and well-groomed has remained the same. Being unaware of these social graces can leave an individual socially clumsy. Sharon-Frances Moore, an Etiquette Coach has helped many clients over the years learn the nuances of proper social skills. Moore emphasizes that etiquette is of concern for everyone, not only professionals. Etiquette helps develop confidence. It is about personal empowerment and career advancement.
