ENGLISH Thank you for purchasing this Price Pfister kitchen faucet. All Price Pfister products are carefully engineered, and factory tested to provide long trouble-free use under normal conditions. This kitchen faucet is easy to install using basic tools and our easy to follow illustrated instructions. If you have any questions regarding your kitchen faucet installation call 1-800-Pfaucet (1-800-732-8238). TOOLS RECOMMENDED: • Pliers • Adjustable wrenches (optional)
• Flashlight • Plumber’s putty
• 9/16”, 3/4”, 7/8” and 11/16” open end wrenches • Flaring tool (for copper tube installations)
Your installation may require new supply lines and / or shut-off valves.

B 1 CHECKING THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX Upon opening the box, please check to ensure that all of the following items are included with your faucet: A Faucet assembly B Spray head C Single post mounting ring D Deckplate E Weight F Pull-out hose G Hardware bag with the following items:

3A INSTALLING DECKPLATE (For single hole mount, go to step 4A)
If any of these items are missing, please contact Price Pfister Consumer Services at 1-800-Pfaucet (1-800-732-8238).
Ensure that plastic putty plate (3A1) is pressed on to deck plate (3A2). Place a bead of plumber’s putty in the groove along the outer edge of the putty plate (3A1). Install the deck plate (3A2) over the three holes in your sink.

3B 2 BEFORE PROCEEDING Locate water supply inlets and shut off the water supply valves. These are usually found under the sink or near the water meter. If you are replacing an existing faucet, remove the faucet from the sink and clean the sink surface thoroughly. INSTALLATION Your faucet can be installed with or without the deck plate: For 3-hole installation using the deck plate:

3B SECURING DECKPLATE TO DECK From underneath sink, hand tighten wing nuts (3B1). Caution: do not over-tighten wing nuts. Remove any excess putty from around the outside edge of the deck plate (3B2).

3C5 4C INSTALLING THE FAUCET USING THE SINGLE POST RING Feed the pullout hose (4C3) up through the faucet body (4C2), until the pull-out hose fitting is flush with the bottom of the mounting shank (4C4) (see illustration). Insert the faucet supply tubes (4C5) and mounting shank (4C4) through the hole in the sink. Note: Do not feed the pullout Hose (3C3) back down through the spout yet.
3C INSTALLING THE FAUCET USING THE DECK PLATE Retract the pullout hose (3C3) up through the faucet body (3C2), until the pull-out hose fitting is flush with the bottom of the mounting shank (3C4). Insert the faucet supply tubes (3C5) and mounting shank (3C4) through the hole in the deck plate (3C1). Note: The tabs on the faucet body (3C2) must be aligned to the grooves inside the deck plate (3C1). To ensure this is the case, rotate the faucet body (3C2) back and forth. When the tabs are aligned, the faucet will not rotate. Note: Do not feed the pullout Hose (3C3) back down through the spout yet.

4A-4B INSTALLING SINGLE POST RING Pass single post ring (4A1) over copper inlet / outlet tubes (4A2), and press onto faucet body (4A3). Note: The tabs on the faucet body (4B1) must be aligned to the grooves inside the single post ring (4B2). To ensure this is the case, rotate the single post ring (4B2). When the tabs are aligned, the ring will not rotate.

5 INSTALLING THE MOUNTING HARDWARE From underneath sink, feed the washer (5A) and brass mounting nut (5B) over the supply tubes (5C) and pullout hose (5D). Thread the brass mounting nut (5B) on to the mounting shank (5E). Wrench tighten the brass mounting nut (5B), until faucet is firmly secured to sink. From above sink, feed the pullout hose (5D) back down through the spout, until the sprayhead docks into the spout.

8 RIGID SUPPLY CONNECTIONS Supply Connections (Wing Nuts) (3/8” O.D. Compression fittings included) Slide water supply nut (8A), friction ring (8B), and cone washer (8C) onto 3/8” O.D. water supply line end. Flare the end of water supply line (8D) with a flaring tool. Insert flared hot water supply line (8D) into faucet hot supply tube end (8E) and hand tighten nut (8A). Repeat procedure for cold water supply. Supply Connections (Brass Nuts) (Brass Supply and compression fittings not included) Slide water supply nut (8F), friction ring (8G), and cone washer (8H) onto 3/8” O.D. water supply line end. Flare the end of water supply line (8J) with a flaring tool. Insert flared hot water supply line (8J) into faucet hot supply tube end (8K) 8K) and wrench tighten (8F). Repeat procedure for 8K cold water supply.
6 CONNECTING WATER SUPPLY LINES Separating supply tubes Gently separate hot and cold supply tubes (6A), approximately three inches apart (See figure 11). Flexible supply lines (not included) Connect hot water supply line to hot inlet fitting (6B), indicated by red tag. Repeat for cold water supply. HOLD STEADY Be sure to hold faucet inlet fitting (BC) steady with an 11/16” wrench while tightening flexible supply line nut (CD). Turn until seal is achieved.

9B 9A 7 IMPORTANT NOTICE When using compression fittings in this package, with these types of installations, the installer must flare or bead the supply tubes to avoid blow-out conditions. Avoiding such steps in the installation of the unit, may result in water damage.
9 ATTACHING WEIGHT TO PULLOUT HOSE Your faucet includes a weight which is not required, but will help to retract the hose during pullout operation. Insert the end of the pullout hose (9A) into the weight (9B).

10A 10 CONNECTING PULL-OUT HOSE From underneath sink, push quick connect housing (10B), located on the end of the pullout hose (10A) firmly upward onto the receiving tube (10C), until unable to push any further. Pull down on the quick connect housing (10B). If the housing and the inner collect (10D) separate slightly but do not pull off, the receiving tube (10C) quick connect is secure.
13 REMOVING SPRAY HEAD To prevent damage to the internal parts of your faucet from debris that may have collected in the water lines, it will be necessary to flush the faucet. Flushing requires the removal of the sprayhead (13A). To remove the sprayhead (13A), use a 3/4” open ended wrench or adjustable wrench (13C) to turn the metal hose fitting (13B) counterclockwise.

14D 11 SECURING INLET LINES Do not cross the pullout hose connection (11B) with the inlet supply tubes (11A) to avoid binding, jamming and interference with the movement of the pull-out hose.

12 FAUCET START UP Turn on hot and cold water supplies, and check for leaks above and below the sink.
14 FLUSHING VALVE Lift the faucet handle (14A) up to the full on position. Run water for one minute. Repeat in hot and cold positions. Reassemble the sprayhead (14B) to the pull-out hose (14C) by turning the metal hose fitting (14D) clockwise. Caution: do not over tighten spray head / pull-out hose.

15 COMFORT SPRAY OPERATION Your Price Pfister pullout faucet features Comfort Spray, designed to provide both comfort and convenience. Featuring an ergonomic shape and concealed spray buttons, Comfort Spray will make everyday kitchen tasks a snap. Comfort Spray offers three water patterns: • Regular Stream (15A) • Full Spray (15B) • Jet Spray (15C)
17D 17C 17 CLEANING AERATOR Over time, the aerator in your faucet may become clogged with debris. To clean the aerator, unscrew aerator housing (17A) from spray head (17B) using a 7/8” open ended wrench or adjustable wrench. Separate aerator housing (17C), aerator basket (17D), and flat seal (17E). Once parts have been cleaned, reassemble by reversing these steps.

16 ACTIVATING SPRAY To activate the spray mode, simply press the toggle button (16A) located under the spray head. You can change between spray and stream by pressing the opposite sides of the toggle button (16A/16B) while the faucet is in operation. To select between hard spray and soft spray, slide the spray selector switch (16C) from side to side. Note: the spray selector will stay where you set it and will always be the default spray pattern until you change it. Note: The faucet will always turn on in regular stream mode.

19 REMOVING QUICK CONNECT To remove the quick connect attachment: Push up on the quick connect housing (19A). Holding grey plastic collet (19B) in place, pull downward on quick connect housing (19A) until tube (19C) is free.

CAUTION: Maintenance DISASSEMBLY 1. Replacement parts may be available at the store where you purchased your faucet. 2. When replacement parts are not available, please write or call Price Pfister Consumer Service. 3. Always turn off water and relieve pressure before working on your faucet. 20 TROUBLESHOOTING Handle Removal: Carefully pry off handle button (20A) using a small screwdriver or blade. Using a 3/32” Allen wrench, loosen set screw (20B) and remove handle (20C).
NOTE: Trim Care Cleaning Instructions: For all Handles and decorative finishes, use only a soft damp cloth to clean and shine. Use of polish, detergents, abrasive cleaners, organic solvents or acid may cause damage. Use of other than a soft damp cloth will nullify our warranty!
Cartridge Replacement Turn off water supplies and relieve pressure before working on your faucet (see Figure 18). Remove handle (20C) – see above. Remove the dome cap (20D) by unscrewing counter clockwise. Using pliers, unscrew the retainer ring (20E) Carefully remove the cartridge (20F) by pulling it straight up and out Reassemble faucet by reversing steps
Special Trim: Trim products which contain Porcelain or other similar substance are not acceptable for public areas or Commercial use. Installation of Said Trim is at Users Risk!
