This position supports the purchasing and receiving areas with the goal of constantly developing new connections with vendors and co-ops in order to access greater savings. We want to raise awareness on how to be the best stewards of God’s money. Win: Disciple: Send:
Provide each department at CCM with tools to carry out their primary function (keeping the main thing the main thing) while making the dollars stretch. Engage with volunteers, delivery personnel, and reps both churched and unchurched with a biblical attitude and mission. Being a helping hand to our Missions departments through mailing packages, purchasing provisions at a discounted price, and helping them seek out and obtain needed supplies for their mission.

Input data from purchase requisitions creating purchase orders Proficiently navigate internet searching for discounted or contract pricing with co-ops, reps, suppliers and online vendors Solicit competitive bid proposals Navigate online purchase system in Shelby Monitor office supply list and order supplies Monitor warehouse club list, ordering and picking up supplies when director is out Prepare reports on potential areas and means of cost production (specific projects given by director on occasion) Reconcile and coordinate credit card statement with accounts payable (when requested) Be available to pick up merchandise Photocopy, process and file daily paperwork Maintain and inventory a ready stock of common supplies Pick up mail in admin offices daily Filing
Receiving Department Inventory incoming items Manage distribution of goods to ministries once received Maintain receiving log Interact with UPS, Fed Ex and USPS noting damaged packages Ability to lift 40 lbs. Page 1 of 3
Shipping Weigh, measure and prepare packages and forms (obtaining best pricing) for shipping if requested Keep records of items shipped and process paperwork to accounting Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines Good organizational skills Investigative reporting for CCA-always looking for something new and relevant Computer skills o Effectively use Microsoft Office Suite Software including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. o Know and effectively use Microsoft Outlook for email, calendars, tasks and contacts Type 45 wpm
