HOW TO CHANGEPASSWORDS FOR SYSTEMS MODEL NUMBERS: QS458, QS4716, QS4816, QS494, QS524, and QS558 DVRs
STEP 1: On the channel display, right click and a small control bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Move the cursor to the “Start” button and left click it.
STEP 2: Move the cursor to “Basic” and left click on the mouse.
STEP 3: Move the cursor to “User ”and left click on the mouse .
STEP 4: Move the cursor to the account you wish to modify password, and double click on the mouse.
STEP5:Input the new password. And click on Enter.
STEP6: Confirm the new password.
STEP 7: Move the cursor to “APPLY” and left click on the mouse.
STEP 8: Move the cursor to “OK” and left click on the mouse
STEP 9: Move the cursor to “Exit” and left click on the mouse.
STEP 10: Last, you must navigate back to the Main Menu and Left Click on “LOGOUT” and at this point you can start using the New Password.
