Quilt in Peace with friends, and take time for inspiration and fellowship while you create. The lakeside grounds are spectacular; we encourage you to take a hiatus for a walk on one of many trails or just a few steps to sit by the lake. Judy Niemeyer’s Pattern – Summer Solstice This class is being offered at the retreat and taught by Karen Ytzen. Karen has taught at several area quilt shops and quilted the past 30 years. She also tests patterns for designers. One of her most recent Judy Niemeyer quilts was on display at the Portland Quilt Market in the Anthology Booth. Karen promises a relaxed atmosphere class. We have chosen a paper pieced pattern that graduates in degree of difficulty. There are 3 basic pieces, lone star, New York Beauty and border. This stunning quilt finishes at 58 X 58. Retreat Registration Information On Saturday, 9/28/13 All Retreat Registrants receive 15% off their purchases as a Pre-Retreat Shopping Day.
