Supplies:  Sewing machine cleaned and oiled with a new needle and machine accessories you like to use  1/4 inch foot for your machine  40 to 50wt cotton thread that blends with your choice of fabric  Rotary cutter, mat and ruler  I would also suggest a 31/2" square ruler and a 91/2" square ruler**  Scissors  Straight pins  Frixon Pen**  3/8" bias tape maker (bias stems on applique) **  Fabric basting glue  1 yard light weight fusible web**  Thread to match the stems, leaves and flowers of your applique If you want to do the details on the applique by had you will need a dark brown and green embroidery floss. ** Available at Mel’s
