Dear Milad: Re: Registration, Course, & Tuition Payment Information I do hope that the summer is treating you and yours well, and that you are enjoying some well deserved leisure time. It’s hard to believe but it will soon be time to start your second year. Classes begin on Friday, August 19th. At this point, you are already half-way to your Sobey EMBA. Take a moment to reflect on how far you have come in the past year. You have a much deeper knowledge base of business and finance, strengthened your leadership and teambuilding skills and have learned a lot about yourself in the process. Throughout this transformational journey, you have increased your network of professional contacts and made lifelong friends who are uniquely bonded through this shared experience. I am so proud of all of your accomplishments. You have worked very hard and the finish line is in sight. Meanwhile, there is much more to learn in the coming year with classes in International Capital Markets, Business Strategy, Management Information Systems, Leadership Challenges, Global Economics, and International Business along with a highlight of the program - the International Trade Mission. We will begin the year with Management Information Systems (EMBA 6631) with David Bateman and Policy I – Business Strategy (EMBA 6633) with Rosalie Fine. A complete schedule of all your second year classes is included in this mailing. Please be sure to log in to banner to register for all of your courses listed below. An instruction sheet is also enclosed. With respect to a housekeeping item, enclosed please find an invoice for your second year. If you have not already paid your tuition, we kindly ask that you take care of this on or before September 16, 2016. Finally, please note the mandatory Annual Welcome Barbecue, which will be held at the Prince George Hotel on Thursday, August 4th, 2015 at 5.30 p.m. This fun gathering of the entire Sobey EMBA community provides a nice opportunity for you to catch up with your classmates in a relaxed and casual setting before the start of the academic year. In addition, we encourage you to extend a warm welcome to the incoming students. As you recall from your own experience, our seasoned students play a reassuring role in helping first year students acclimate to their new environment. At the same time, your Sobey network will expand even further. Please RSVP to [email protected].
