A Journey through Luke’s Gospel Jesus sent the twelve on their first “missions trip.” They returned with news of their adventures. Jesus withdraws with the disciples to a quiet place, but cannot escape the crowds. He continues to teach and to heal and then feed the crowd of 5000 with five loaves and two fish. When he finally gets alone with his disciples Jesus starts to prepare his disciples for the future. Study Guide – Volume 15 1.
