A:
你发什么神经，我连个男朋友都没有，跟谁结婚啊？是我决定重新装修 家里。 nǐ fāshénmeshénjīng， wǒ lián gè nán péngyou dōu méiyǒu， gēn shéi jiéhūn ā？ shì wǒ juédìng chóngxīn zhuāngxiū jiālǐ。 What's wrong with you, I don't even have a boyfriend, who would I even get married to? The news is that I've decided to renovate my house.
B:
怎么突然想装潢房子，不是住得好好的吗? zěnme tūrán xiǎng zhuānghuáng fángzi， bùshì zhù de hǎohāo de ma? Why are you suddenly redecorating your house, isn't it a really nice place?
A:
其实是为了我爸妈，他们年纪大了，想把家里弄得更宽敞一点。 qíshí shì wèile wǒ bà mā， tāmen niánjì dà le， xiǎng bǎ jiālǐ nòng de gèng kuānchǎng yīdiǎn。 Actually it's for my parents. They're getting older and I want to make the house more open and accessible.
B:

wǒ liǎngnián qián zhǐshì bǎ yī jiān fángjiān gé chéng liǎng gè xiǎo fángjiān， jiù huā le wǒ zhěngzhěng bàn nián de shíjiān。 You really are such a good daughter, there's a lot involved in renovating a house. Two years ago I just wanted to divide one room into two smaller rooms and I spent a whole six months on it.

I want to show it to some friends who understand architecture before I sign the contract.

As well as that, whatever you do, don't forget to request that the construction company provides a warranty. Although it's a little expensive, it provides you with more of a safeguard.
A:
