Location The site is located on St Mark’s Road in Maidenhead, approximately 1.6km (1 mile) west of Maidenhead town centre and the train station. Maidenhead enjoys a strategic and historic location within the Thames Valley, just 30 miles west of central London and in the heart of the M4 science and technology corridor on the River Thames. Other key towns in the region are within easy reach; Reading 15 miles to the west, Slough 5 miles to the east, and Bracknell 9 miles to the south. Maidenhead station offers direct services to London (approximately 25 minutes),

Slough (12 minutes), Reading (18 minutes) and Didcot (45 minutes), with additional connecting services to the Midlands and South West. From 2019 Maidenhead Station will be the penultimate western terminus of the Crossrail Elizabeth line. Once implemented the service will provide six trains an hour at peak times with a direct line into central London in under an hour. Maidenhead offers a range of more than 200 large and small shops, focussed around the Pedestrianised High Street and adjoining traditional streets, and the Nicholsons Centre, which offers a

selection of over 60 stores including well known names such as Pandora, WHSmith, Marks and Spencer, Monsoon, Robert Dyas, and Topshop/Topman. Nearly £1 billion of investment is expected in Maidenhead town centre over the next 10 years with an ambitious regeneration plan including 100,000 sqm of quality office space, redeveloped streets and spaces, improved parking and transport interchange as well as an enhanced leisure and cultural offer for the town.
