Welcome to Woodberry Down

Woodberry Down is one of the largest and most talked about regeneration schemes in the London Borough of Hackney. 5,557 new homes are being created for a mixture of private and social residents to create a new community for North London. The first phase consisting of 1,100 units is complete and residents are in occupation; construction of a further 665 units is underway. With over £1 billion investment, over the next 20 years the area will transform physically, socially and economically.

In 2015, the East Reservoir will become home to the London Wildlife Trust’s Woodberry Wetlands with a new boardwalk and visitor centre. Plans for a 1.3 acre public park and a new retail square, in the heart of the scheme, are underway alongside an eclectic programme

A new urban village
