Retailer Confidence Test Packs (RCTP) Invaluable products to simplify Device & Chip card testing. RCTP cards enable basic transaction testing of all the leading card brands (American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard and Visa). They are configured to allow testing of different PIN scenarios. We can provide RCTP cards for contact and contactless transactions in a variety of packs or to purchase individually. The Retailer Confidence Test Pack should only be used in Test / Training environment for basic transaction / confidence testing and training purposes.
How can a Retailer benefit from using RCTP’s? The RCTP: • Enables a Merchant to perform quick Confidence Tests on chip card devices deployed in their stores. • Enables store staff to run some typical chip card transactions through their terminals to assist with staff familiarisation of chip card transactions. • Can be a fundamental part of a retailer‘s overall store training package, facilitating staff education and development.
Are these live or tests keys? The cards contain tests keys only and should only be used with a Test Host or in Training Mode. Can I block the PIN? The cards have PIN values configured for PIN validation successful, Invalid PIN, blocked PIN. The PIN is not actually blocked, it is simulated, hence cards can be re-used for further testing. Are these cards good? Yes, all cards contain good profiles. Do the cards provide contact and contactless testing in one card? No, we have contact only or contactless only specific card packs.
