What is your favorite camp memory? I don't know that I have one favorite memory but the ones that stand out involve seeing kids get the Gospel, where it just clicks with them and they understand it more deeply. I also love the times I get to be messy and play the games with the campers!
Sharon Aylestock How many years have you been at camp? 13 If you could put anything inside a S'more, what would it be? Cinnamon Graham Crackers, Strawberry Slices, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Marshmallow, Nutella, and a Thin Pretzel Slice What is your favorite camp song? Wild Oak Tree (I love the motions!) What is your favorite spot in camp? I love sitting up on the Pavilion during Campfire to see the smoke rise up to the blue sky with the green leaves as a backdrop. All while listening to the singing and someone sharing about God's Word!
What is your funniest habit? I blow my nose when I wake up and before I go to bed every night. If you could spend a day with a person from the Bible, who would it be and why? I'd have to say Moses or Joshua. I have loved studying about the Israelites getting to the Promised Land. I would love to see in person how Moses and Joshua led the Israelites despite their constant forgetfulness of the Lord's promises and the patience they had while leading them. Even though they were sinful just like me, they were faithful to the Lord and trusted Him! What you are most excited about for summer 2017? I am excited to see how our staff will lead campers into fun adventures and show them the love of Christ!
