The Berry Group & Platt Architecture The Berry Group has partnered with Al Platt and Platt Architecture to design the Richland Creek Cottage. Platt Architecture has been designing mountain and lake homes for many years and their homes have been featured in many local and regional magazines. Their work over the last few decades has helped define mountain architecture in the region. Platt Architecture designed the 2006 HGTV dream home that was located in western NC. Platt’s office is located in nearby Brevard, NC and he is available to assist throughout the construction process. The Berry Group believes that working with a great designer makes the end project superior and makes the build process much easier for the client. Because we know that you will want to personalize your home, time with Al Platt to finalize the design and interior material selections is included in the price of this home, as well as time with an interior designer to finalize fixture selections and assist with color selections, etc. The collective efforts of the team will make the process streamlined and easy for the client to sit back and enjoy the building process
