RIDGE MEADOWS MINOR HOCKEY JERSEY POLICY
Each athlete on the team's roster must give the coach or manager a cheque made payable to RMMHA and postdated to March 31 of the following year in the amount of $200.00, as a security deposit. The Coach or Manager of each team must come to the equipment room at the designated time for jersey pickup with the cheques from each player on the team. The Equipment Manager will issue two (2) sets of jerseys (20 red and 20 white) to the Coach or Manager once they sign the form stating that they are responsible for the extra jerseys in the set AND the entire team's cheques are received by the Equipment Manager. (If the coach does not have a child on the team, he/she will need to provide a cheque like the players) With each parent giving their own deposit of $200.00, each athlete shall be allowed to take a jersey set home with them and be responsible for the care of that jersey. HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THE JERSEY What TO DO: Wash in COLD water (DO NOT Wash in HOT water) HANG to dry (DO NOT Place in DRYER) Hand Stitch/Sew Letters on (DO NOT Use tape or Iron On Letters)
START OF SEASON The Coach or Manager must send the Equipment Manager a list of players with their jersey numbers no later than November 1 of the current season. If an athlete is moved to a different team during balancing, the Coach or Manager is responsibility for letting the Equipment Manager know of the move so that the athlete’s cheque can be placed with the new team. Team jerseys stay with the team. The athlete will have to give the 2 jerseys (washed) back to the Coach or Manager from his/her initial team and receive 2 new ones from their new team. (This will help to keep the set complete when the coach or manager returns the jerseys.)
END OF SEASON The Coach or Manager is required to return ALL of the jerseys issued to him/her at the time designated by the Equipment Manager. An athlete’s cheque will be cashed if their jerseys are not returned or if there is any damage (beyond normal wear expected) to the jersey. A Coach’s cheque will be cashed if there are any other jerseys missing from the sets. In the case of a cheque being cashed and returned NSF, that athlete’s registration will then have a hold placed on it for the following season until the payment is received.
