Robinne Burrell is a pioneer in bringing technology to brands to the world. Prior to her leadership positions at companies such as Amazon, myspace and Sony, Robinne has held management positions at Universal Music Group and was an early member of Jimmy Iovine’s startup Inside Sessions, a digital curriculum designed to introduce young musicians how to break into the business of music. Robinne was also an onair correspondent at the Presidential Inauguration of U.S President Barack Obama, covering the logistical technology used during the ceremonies. Standard and Poor’s identified her as part of the “Society of Industry Leaders” and The Hollywood Reporter featured her as "The Next Generation of Industry Execs" and she has been featured on MSNBC and CNN. As a member of the global community, Robinne has founded nonprofit organizations that aim to uplift underrepresented communities worldwide. She was cofounder and original creator of S.T.A.N.D, Socially Together and Naturally Diverse, a global youth coalition across high schools and colleges that focus on bridging the gap between race and gender inequality through educational programs and activism. She is also the Founder of AYA (Arte y Amistad), a volunteer organization based out of Monterrey Mexico that places college students at orphanages throughout the disadvantaged communities of Northern Mexico to implement art, literature and educational programs. She served 2 years as a Rotary Ambassador of Goodwill and Peace in Mexico as a philanthropist and representative of the U.S to improve relations between Mexico and the U.S border relationships. For her commitment to the national community, Robinne was awarded the esteemed Congressional Award for Outstanding Service to the United States. Last year, Robinne was an invited guest of MIT to participate in Solve, an annual consortia of educators, technologists and environmentalists to address the most pertinent issues impacting the world, and has been focusing on the connected classroom crisis in South African townships. Oracle, Standard Bank and Africa Teen Geeks have invited Robinne to host a 3 Day Workshop for South African students on Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age. She is also currently working with Steven Spielberg’s virtual reality company to bring groundbreaking visual experiences to the global community.
