RSC Recreation Referee Payment RSC will issue Referee Fee monies to the Coaches at the pre-season Coach Meeting. Each Coach will pay 1/2 referee cost prior to the start of each game. (Exception: • U14 Boys and Girls Home Team Coach pays referee in full) Referee Pay Schedule U7 $8 paid to the referee per Coach each Game. U8 $8 paid to the referee per Coach each Game. U9 $9 paid to the referee per Coach each Game. U10 $9 paid to the referee per Coach each Game. U12 $12 paid to head referee and $8 to each of the (2) assistant referees per Coach each Game. U14 $28 paid to Head referee and $19 to each of the (2) assistant referees per Home Game Team Coaches give payment envelope(s) to Head Referee at the beginning of each game. In the event a referee does not show: 1) Call RSRA Referee Scheduler Hotline Phone Number. Jan Sigelmier 248-390-4263 2) In the event a referee still does not show, try to pick one from another local game if available. 3) In the event there is still a no-show, use a club linesman (parent). 4) Call RSC @ 248-650-0113 and make them aware of the no-show, leave Coach Name, Game Date and Time. The head referee will refund the no-show amount in the event a partial (3) man system shows. Both teams and referees are required to show for the game. 1) In the event the game is called prior to the start, the referee(s) gets 1/2 pay for showing and will refund the rest. 2) In the event the game is called after the start, the referee gets full pay. In the event the Coach no-shows, parents will "pass the hat" to pay referee and get reimbursement from their coach at a later date. In the event one team does not show: 1) The team that shows must pay their 1/2. 2) Split the team in half and scrimmage. 3) Call RSC and notify this occurrence Coach Name, Game Date and Time. The referee is instructed to call RSRA to initiate a reconciliation process with the RSC. In the event of not utilizing the referee payment due to no-shows or cancellations, the money is to be returned to RSC, 1460 Walton, Suite 203, Rochester Hills, 48309.
