Rules & Regulations Recreational Cheer Rules A cheer team competing as a Recreational Cheer Team is defined by United Cheer and Dance Foundation as a team composed of members who do not cheer on a “full year” team in a season. These teams are usually affiliated with but are not limited to Pop Warner Associations, Youth Cheer Associations, YMCA’s, Boys and Girls Clubs, City/County Parks and Recreation Departments or any other community based program that is not a school or All Star related.
COMPETITIVE RECREATIONAL CHEER RULES: 1.
Have their own practice facility or gym.
2.
Hold practice and or attend tumbling classes at gymnastics or All Star Cheer facilities.
3,
Represent their individual recreational team or their entire community program.
4.
Combine team members from all teams within a recreational program.
5.
Have team members who also participate on school or All Star teams.
6.
Recreational Cheer teams will adhere to the All Star Prep Division Safety Rules & Guidelines and will compete in the All Star Prep Division and listed as such.
7.
Teams listed as All Star Prep will be listed on the order of appearance as “non sanctioned” and may not be considered in the running for “level winners” at this event.
