In the first 10 verses of this prophecy Ezekiel predicted the downfall of the “ruler of Tyre,” a king by the name of Ethbaal. Then, in verses 11-19, the prophet turned his attention to the true “king of Tyre” or Satan who was the motivating influence behind this pagan ruler. What was the original creation of Satan (vv. 11-19)? What caused God to cast Satan out of heaven? Chart the future and ultimate defeat of Satan as described by the apostle John in the Book of Revelation: •Revelation 20:1-3 •Revelation 20: 7-9 •Revelation 20:10 THE WORK OF SATAN Read Genesis 3:1-5.
