Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. warrants the Flood Detection Sensor, Flood Detection Alarm, and Flood Prevention Automatic Shutoff Supply Valve, supplied in the Safe ’N’ Sound Dishwasher KitTM to be free from defects in materials or workmanship, under normal use and services for one year from the date of original purchase by the consumer. This warranty does not cover defects in the electrical components of the Safe ’N’ Sound Dishwasher KitTM resulting from: (a) abuse or mishandling of the unit; (b) modification, alteration, repair or service of the unit by anyone other than Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. (c) improper or neglect in maintenance. This warranty does not cover any damages caused by defects in the units, and owners use of these products confirms the understanding that these units DO NOT CONSTITUTE AN INSURANCE POLICY and they are only loss mitigation products used to reduce the risk of water damage. Any replacement unit will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period or thirty days from your receipt, which ever is longer. Some states and jurisdictions do not allow limitations on duration of an implied warranty or condition, so this limitation may not apply to you. Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. warrants the life of the polymer braided supply hose to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the useful life of the original washing machine with the following conditions: 1) operating temperatures and pressure do not exceed product specifications. 2) physical damage is not present upon material being returned. 3) abuse or mishandling of the unit; 4) modification, alteration, repair or service of the unit by anyone other than Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc.; 5) improper or neglect in maintenance. If any defect is discovered and is returned to Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. within the appropriate warranty period, we will repair or replace it free of charge (except that you are responsible for any expense you incur). 2) To obtain warranty service, ship returning goods in an original box (or a container adequate to protect the unit from further damage in transit) Along with the proof of purchase (ie sales receipt, indicating pricing paid, date of purchase, location of purchase) to: Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. • C/0 warranty service department • 298 Montrose Road • Westbury, NY 11590. By design our products utilize water sensors that must sense an existing leak, and some water will already be present. The objective of our product is to control, minimize and reduce the effects of leaks and floods. The Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. products are ONLY risk reducing products, and Safe ’N’ Sound Appliances Inc. will not be responsible for any damage from proper or improper functioning of the Safe ’N’ Sound Dishwasher KitTM.
