Making Six Triangle Pieced Squares

1. Assembly-line sew two pairs of light and dark, and four pairs of medium and light.

2. Set seam with darkest on top, open, and press toward darkest. Clip apart.

3. Press seam toward Triangle. Do not trim tip. Use as match point. 4. Sew second Triangle. Press seam toward Triangle. 5. Sew right sides together to large dark Triangle. 6. Press seams toward large Triangle.

Making Two Patches 1. Lay out pieces and sew together.

Finishing Block 1. Lay out pieces. Flip row on right to row on left.

2. “Swirl” seams and press.

Making Two Patches 1. Place two in each stack. 2. Flip Triangle Pieced Square right sides together to Triangle. Assembly-line sew.

2. Assembly-line sew. 3. Turn. Sew remaining row, pushing seam on top up, and underneath seam down. 4. Clip connecting thread, and “swirl” seams clockwise. Press. 15
