Seletar assisted a major subsea operator in the organisation of open days for two of its vessels at Clipper Quay recently. Seletar worked closely with the harbour board to organise secure visitor entry to the quayside, ensuring the event ran without difficulty.

Since the redevelopment of Jubilee Quay, there has been a large increase in support vessels serving the West of Shetland. Seletar provide full quayside coordination logistics including road transport to ensure urgent cargo is transferred to/from storage hubs in the Aberdeen area. Scrabster is a convenient alternative port for companies operating West of Shetland.

Dundee Our experienced team of agents support oil and gas, general cargo and cruise ship agency from our Dundee office. Dundee port is currently playing home to four oil rigs, some of which are ready for decommissioning, an industry which could provide up to 7,500 jobs locally.

Great Yarmouth Great Yarmouth Port has been confirmed as the turbine assembly base for the Galloper Wind farm development. Seletar provides agency services to contractors involved in the development, with additional shorebase support provided by our parent company, ASCO.

Invergordon The Port of Cromarty Firth are currently undergoing a two-stage development programme to expand and improve quayside facilities for the offshore and cruise liner industries.

Lerwick Seletar were appointed agents for the COSCO vessel, “Xiang Yun Kou” which arrived in Lerwick from Dubai with the seabed oil storage tank bound for the Solan Field, West of Shetland.

Teesport

Following on from an investment of around £15m in the past few years to deepen and upgrade berths on the south and north sides of Montrose Harbour, an ambitious £5.2m project will get underway shortly to redevelop two further berths on the north quay.

The port has seen a £35 million investment in its new 550m deep water quay, the port can now simultaneously berth two 235m long vessels with maximum drafts of 14.50m.

Peterhead Peterhead Port Authority have commenced development of the fishing harbour to create a state of the art fishing hub. The removed dredged material will be used to construct a 25,000m2 lay down area adjacent to Smith Quay, this is temporarily earmarked to be used by the offshore industry.

In addition to local runs from quaysides to/from airports or hotels, we regularly transport crew longer distances such as Great Yarmouth to Heathrow, as well as servicing more remote locations such as Invergordon and Scrabster from our Aberdeen base.
