SLT Meeting Summary April 5, 2017 FINAL Attendance: Barbara Ann Ajami, Kim Sperrazza, Vanesa Greenberg, Deanna Robbins, Kim Swanson, Dorejo Kenney, Diane Recca, Ellen Azzato, Dean Scali 1. Approve Minutes from 3/1/17 meeting Approved the Minutes from the 3/1/17 meeting 2. Reso-A updates Current RESO Grant nearing final stages for approval and sign-off of work to be done. Target date for materials to start being shipped is May. Finalizing the dimensions of the boards. An additional RESO A grant has been given to PS56 $140,000.00. We will canvas staff and parents for suggestions. Examples: Color printers, poster maker, tablets with same operating system as ActivPanels, additional APPs, etc. 3. Misc. Plickers is an APP that allows student responses to be uploaded electronically to smartphone or tablet ELA is completed Pre-K may be involved in Dance Festival next year. The festival went very smoothly and enjoyed by all. We thank the PTA for assisting with the dance Festival We are looking to partner with Teachers College in piloting a STEM program called (STILE) for next year We are looking into departmentalizing the 5th grade for next year. Enjoy a Happy Easter, Passover and spring vacation.
