1. What in the sermon encouraged you, comforted you, challenged you, or informed you?
2. Read Numbers 12:1-2. What is Aaron and Miriam’s complaint against Moses? Why do we often look with jealousy at people who have distinct positions and opportunities which have been clearly ordained in God’s providence?
3. Read Numbers 12:6-8. How does God respond to Aaron and Miriam in clarifying his relationship with Moses and the role given to Moses? Why does God respond in anger?
4. Read Numbers 12:3. How does seeing God as He is in all of his greatness and experiencing particular life tests and trials train us to become meeker?
5. Read Numbers 12:10-13. What does Moses’ prayer for Miriam and Aaron reveal about his meekness? Jesus also intercedes in prayer on our behalf (Hebrews 7:25).
