How to Setup Affiliate Contests & Affiliate Teams Step 1: Getting Started First go to Sellers tab and then Sellers Dashboard. **IMPORTANT before you go any further you will have to have a product already created within JVZoo. Step 2: Adding a Contest Click on Actions button next to the product you want to add a contest to. **TIP to find the product you are looking for faster use the filter option or sort. Step 3: Contest Information On this page you will need to fill out the name of the contest, start date, end date, how the results will be calculated, if the product is active, and if the contest should apply to a funnel or just for a particular product. **IMPORTANT if you want the contest to apply to an entire funnel you will need to choose whether the contest is calculated by the total or gross sales amount on the entire funnel or just for one particular part. Also note that the contest does not change from active to inactive once it reaches the end date and it will not include any statistical data of affiliate sales outside of the date range.
Step 4: Prize info In the wysiwyg editor is where you will enter the info the prize details. You can give as much detail as you want. Once you are done just click the Save Affiliate Contest button. You can always view the contest when you go back to your products page.
Step 5: Affiliate/Associate Teams To setup Affiliate/Associate Teams click on the Manage Affiliate Teams for this Contest button. You will then need to enter a team name in the New Team Name field. Once you do that then you will need to enter the id or email address of the affiliate/associate’s that are working together. Once you are done adding team members click the Save New Team button.
