inspired by my love of creating with fabric and all the tools that make it happen. My love of sewing came from my grandmother, my mom and her sisters. They grew up sewing their own clothes and, when I was young, clothes for me, too. As I got older I moved from creating fashions for my dolls to to clothes for myself. Mom taught me to read patterns and we would enjoy “tag-team-sewing” on her vinatge treadle machine. I pinned and cut while she stitched away. Old, yet effiecient, that machine was a workhorse...it never jammed! I can never have enough pairs of scissors, full bobbins, colorful pins or colors of thread...It might be a sickness!
