Rules:
Coaches will make sure that games start on time. They will also make sure that there is a scorekeeper and timer for each game. Coaches must show good sportsmanship towards referees and the opposing team. Coaches are responsible for the parents. Each team will submit a lineup before the game begins. The lineup will designate the order that the players will enter the game. A new set of players will enter at the 5 minute mark of each half. SUBSTITUTIONS ONLY FOR INJURY. The next person on the lineup will enter in these instances. DURING THE LAST 2 MINUTES OF THE SECOND HALF, YOU CAN PLAY AND SUB FREELY ANY PLAYER. IN OVERTIME, YOU CAN PLAY ANY COMBINATION OF PLAYERS AND SUB FREELY. TECHNICAL FOULS ARE AUTOMATIC 2 POINTS + POSSESSION Games will consist of two 20 minute halves. Running clock WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: • TIME OUTS AND ROTATIONS • FIRST FREE THROW (Clock stops until the ref hands the ball to the free throw shooter for the first shot only) • ALL WHISTLES DURING THE LAST 30 SECONDS OF FIRST HALF AND LAST 90 SECONDS OF THE SECOND HALF. Each team gets 2 time-outs per half (30-second duration). One 2-minute overtime will be played if needed. The game is over after the first overtime. Five fouls per player per game. If a team only has 5 players, they will continue to play with 5 players, but each foul after 5 on a player will be considered a technical foul. Teams will shoot 1 and 1 on the 7th team foul per half. Teams will shoot two shots on the 10th team foul per half. Teams can play any defense (man, zone) during the entire game. (Coach’s choice) Teams can full court press the entire game unless up by more than 15 points. Teams can run the fast break during the entire game unless up by more than 20 points. Teams will get 1 warning per game for breaking this rule. Each time after the warning the team will turn the ball over to the other team. Coaches failing to follow this rule will be suspended for 1 game. TECHNICAL FOULS o ANY PLAYER/COACH RECEIVING A TECHNICAL FOUL WILL BE ISSUED A WARNING o ANY PLAYER/COACH RECEIVING A 2ND TECHNICAL FOUL IS EJECTED FROM THE GAME (IN THE EVENT IT IS IN THE SAME GAME) AND WILL SERVE A 1 GAME SUSPENSION o ANY PLAYER/COACH RECEIVING A 3RD TECHNICAL FOUL WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THE LEAGUE FOR REMAINDER OF SEASON AND PLAYOFFS.
