Things that did not always work in our favor: Athletic Usage: –  Football •  Use of our natural turf sports fields by youth football leagues. –  We did not have a field exclusively for football…

•  Wear and tear –  Frequency of use & scheduling »  Many times played 5 games on a Sunday »  Conflict of schedules –  Agreements regarding weather but the person making the decision must be willing to stand his/her ground –  Man hours

–  Soccer – Don’t assume reciprocal sharing –  Swimming Pool – Does anyone have a pool that helps or hinders their operations?

•  Illinois School Purchasing Network –  The network offers all school districts in Illinois access to high-quality products at some of the best available government prices. –  Helps local districts leverage group buying power.

Anything Else ? •  Shared Services are a great way to save money and get things done. •  In some cases, they create the need for you or your staff to work with the community… Community partnerships are listed in many Board Initiatives and school strategic plans.
