The Week Ahead… 1st A “HOME” Swim Meet:
June 17th - against
HEAD COACH AND ASSISTANT COACHES
Norbeck Grove; Setup 7:20am here at Eldwick and warm-ups start at 8:00am Theme: Hawaiian
Brogan (Head Coach), Luke (Assistant Coach) and Cullen (Assistant Coach) all swam on the Eldwick Swim Team from the age of 4 thru 18. Luke is starting his 3rd year as the Assistant Coach. It is the second summer that Brogan will be Head Coach and she recently has graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Elementary Education. Brogan and Luke have coached the Mini Team kids since they were 12. This is Cullen's 1st year as an Assistant Coach. Cullen has been a lifeguard at Eldwick. All 3 have been on several Eldwick Relays that took first place in the County All Star Relay Meet. They all have done winter swimming for 7 years and all loved the time they were apart of the Eldwick Sharks and are enjoying coaching the team.

1.) NO non-MCSL Swim caps allowed for meets. This is your chance to wear your Eldwick caps-see Jenny or Cindy if you want purchase one.

2.) Purchase our Swim Team suits at Cassel’s Swim and Awards in Rockville; 301-309-3660; all swimmers MUST wear “official” suit or black/navy blue suit.

Hi Sharks! We are looking forward to a fun and competitive 2017 swim season. Let's get ready for our first dual swim meet of the season against Norbeck Grove. The theme is Hawaiian - wear your leis and hula skirts :) Swim fast and cheer hard! Go Sharks! Brogan
WHAT’S NEW SINCE LAST SEASON? 1.) Erik Hillard & Micah Selengut - rising Seniors - have been BUSY visiting colleges - a BIG decision awaits! 2.) Michael Kalin is ranked #2 in Montgomery County for his weight class for wrestling. His Mock Trial Club placed 2nd in their championship- best ever so far in Churchill history! 3.) Aimee has developed as a ice skating figure skater & lacrosse player and her brother, Aidan, has become a real “foodie” & food critic- watch out Mom! 4.) Grace fell in love with field hockey & has enjoyed playing this past season 5.) Jaime & Roman added a new member to their family -a Collie - Baelee 6.) Anna Lydia & Anika have started a lucrative “slime” business at their schools 7.) Alvi and Alistar have been running fast at their track meets and Ellie has continued her journey as a ballerina!
Pre-Team Helpers-We have a huge Pre-Team this year and we want to give a SHOUT OUT to all the helpers we have this season to help with these little ones as they begin their SHARK training!
