Sign Ordinance Update Signs Near the Roofline

Objectives • Exhibit, through existing or hypothetical examples, what is currently allowed • Show options (graphics) for a new, defined standard • Identify area(s) where “signs near the roofline” should be placed

Existing Regulations • The Sign Guidelines for Site Plan buildings allow additional building signs, above 35 feet. • Sign lettering is limited to 6 feet in height. • Sign area is limited to the total linear frontage of the building facing a public R.O.W. • Up to 2 signs per building. 3

Within the current guidelines, the amount of square footage of signs can vary greatly; for example:
