Silent Auction
The NWA “Silent Auction” returns for the 2014 NWA Annual Education and Networking Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! May 18 - 24, 2014 The proceeds will benefit the National WIC Association, who is the non-profit education arm and advocacy voice for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), as we celebrate 40 years of strengthening families all across the Nation. Donations are tax-deductible.
We need your help to make the auction a success! How great it would be for each WIC State Agency to donate a gift for the auction!
Please consider taking an hour or two over the next couple weeks and contact one or more of your local businesses and ask them to donate an item. Please keep in mind that many attendees are traveling by plane to the conference, so consider the weight and size of the donated items. That being said…some may be willing to ship their purchases and many attendees will be driving! Need some suggestions for a donation? • Items unique to your state or region • Products that showcase your business • Gift baskets (you select the theme!) • Items for pets (also kids and grandkids!) • Gift certificates for internet shopping sites (Amazon, etc.)

Sports stuff/fitness and health Handmade items/accessories/jewelry Nonperishable food items/gourmet candies/favorite wine The sky’s the limit – but please, no baby grand pianos!
It is our sincerest hope that the Silent Auction will be a fun and very worthwhile fund raising activity to support the NWA. Whether you plan to donate an item or arrive with an unbridled checkbook, you will be playing an important role in making the Silent Auction a great success!
