Site Champion Description

Site Champion Description Job Summary: A GOTR Site Champion is a volunteer position that serves as a point of contact and liaison between GOTR NEFL and coaches/ participants and appropriate personnel at the site. The position works closely with the Northeast Florida Program Manager and entails a couple meetings with staff prior to registration and then a few hours during the registration period which kicks off each GOTR season.

Core Duties/Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):  Be the Contact Person for the site  Complete Site Agreement  Attend 2-3 GOTR Site Champion Meetings – including informational meeting prior to registration.  Distribute GOTR Registration forms to girls at the site during registration period.  Recruit appropriate Coaches and Substitute Coaches for the site  Communicate in a timely manner with GOTR Staff as needed.  Understand and believe in the mission of the organization, and exhibit characteristics that keep with the mission.  Act as a spokesperson for the program.
